I compete in the Southern California observed trials ATA championship series. I recommend trials riding to everybody. It will improve your riding skills no matter what type of motorcycle you ride. My personal machine is the world champion Montesa Cota 4RT.

Here I am racing the 1993 SCORE Baja 500. The early morning fog combined with lots of dust made goggles useless! I managed to finish the solo ride with no flats and only one minor crash!

Associate of CBR Bearing Company, Jim Lara, is seen here on turn four below "The Balcony" of Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, California. Jim, besides being a avid off-road motorcycle enthusiast, competed in the Southern California Karters Enduro Series.
