In a couple of months, a team from CBR will be heading out from our bearing lab in Southern California and traveling northeast to attend the annual EASA Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
If you are part of the electrical or mechanical apparatus industry, you likely know all about EASA, but for those who aren’t familiar with them, EASA is the Electrical Apparatus Service Association. They are a professional trade organization that supports those who sell, service, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment and systems. EASA works hard to educate those in the industry on the latest technology to help them achieve greater success in their work. They are a great organization and we are happy to be a part of it as an Associate Member.
EASA puts on a conference every year. This year it will be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas from June 30-July 2, 2019. The conference will feature various keynote speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions. It will also have an Exhibit Hall with booths and displays set up by vendors that sell to those in the electrical and mechanical apparatus industry, and CBR will have a booth in the Exhibit Hall this year.
Because the majority of the ceramic hybrid bearings we sell are used in industrial electric motors, it makes sense for us to attend conferences like these. It allows us to reach new customers who may have never heard of us or our products, and also to connect in person with current customers.
CBR will be in Booth 343 in the Exhibit Hall, which will be open on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday of the convention. There will be several other bearing companies in attendance as well, so it will be a great opportunity for attendees to compare our products with the bearings of some of our competitors. We welcome you to compare our ceramic hybrid bearings with others on the market—we are confident that you’ll find our bearings to be some of the best out there, while still being affordable.
Unlike other booths in the Exhibit Hall that will be staffed by company sales reps, the CBR booth will have company owner Charlie Rowlett there to answer questions and showcase our products. If you know anything about Charlie, you know he is a wealth of information when it comes to ceramic hybrid bearings, and he’s happy to spend as much time as is needed with those who have questions about CBR’s products. We will have samples on hand so you can touch, feel, and see the quality of our bearings.
If you’ll be attending the EASA Convention we hope to see you there and we would love to meet you if we haven’t already! Stop by our booth and say hello!
